Actual conversation between Aves & myself this evening...
(after about 10 minutes of pure, unadulterated goofing off and refusing to brush her teeth before bed:)
"Aves, I am only going to ask you one more time. It is getting late. PLEASE be a good girl, come to the sink, and brush your teeth for bed."
(goofing off ensues...)
"Momma is tired, so please stop pushing my buttons. Come here and brush your teeth. Now."
(completely bewildered look upon her face as she looks me up and down for a good thirty seconds...)
"But Momma....you aren't wearing any buttons tonight. How am I supposed to push them?!?"
