Daddy's Little Girl, rain or shine

So we're t-minus 9 days from little Gavin's (scheduled) arrival, and I snapped this candid of Jeff & Aves as we were leaving father's day brunch at Chez Uncle Paul.
Moments like this truly make my heart overflow with warm, fuzzy happiness, even despite the cold June rain that fell all day long.

Getting ready for Gavin James!

Nursery is D-O-N-E, clothes are all washed, organized by size & put away, crib & bassinet out & ready, Newborn sized diapers & wipes stockpiled & ready to go. At this point, all we have left to add is a BABY!

And they shall be called choo-choo train bars!

Today's eventful moment:

A: Mommy, I'm hungry. Can I please have a snack?
T: Yes, your choices are goldfish, pretzels, or a strawberry Nutri-Grain bar.
A: Oh, I'll definitely have the strawberry choo-choo train bar. Those are so good!

Egg (and belly) painting!

What would pre-Easter festivities be without a little egg-painting, and this year, a little "baby brother in the belly" art?! We all had a blast, especially Aves. Just think, next year at this time there will be 4 of us decorating eggs, and no belly to paint!

WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, MAY I PRESENT THE EGG & BELLY MASTERPIECES:
